Photography Tip - Image Critique - Church of the Holy Cross
It's a lot easier to take a great picture when you have an impressive subject, but, composition is still important no matter what your subject matter. This picture is of the Church of the Holy Cross in Sedona, Arizona. The mountains are really that reddish color and the sky that day was a perfect blue.
There are many ways to take a picture but I chose the classic "rule of thirds" composition for this shot and it worked out fairly well for me.

Nippleitis Effects Alberta
NEWS FLASH:
As you may recall, earlier this year Alberta reported that a severe case of Nippleitis had broken out at all of the Provinces beaches. This strange phenomenon seems to have only affected approximately half the the population while the other half complained of symptoms that ranged from soar necks to dry eyes. Undoubtedly these are side effects from the intent staring and the neck rotation.
One man reported that, "the averting of the eyes seemed to only work for just a short time, and then he was strangely drawn back to the Nippleitis effected areas."
Facebook Contemplates Adding a Sucks Button
While Google rushes to get its new social network Google+ up and running, Facebook has started to realize that there may be some big competition on the social networking block. Google+ has been receiving so much attention that Facebook is working hard to solidify its plans to implement a new feature that's being referred to as "the ultimate in user interaction".
Facebook has decided that what the social giant needs most is something that compliments its highly successful Like button. Facebook has decided to introduce the technologically genius and ingenuitive Sucks button.

Photography Tip - Image Critique - Mexico Market
Getting the right picture sometimes requires that you take some really long exposure shots. The picture featured in this article was taken with ISO 100, F19 and required a 10 second exposure at those settings.
The scene is that of a Mexican 'tianguis' after it has been closed and most everybody has gone home - a tianguis is comparable to an open air flea market. The lighting was way less than what the picture leads you to believe, it was very dimly lit with dark corners and shadows everywhere.
I chose this location and time because I knew it was going to be a challenging and difficult picture to take. It helps me learn by taking pictures that challenge my photographic abilities.
What I like about the picture.
