Autodesk AutoCAD on Mac's OS X
Mac users have been missing a piece of good mechanical design software for a very long time and that piece of the puzzle is finally being filled by a version of AutoCAD that's being released for the Mac platform.
Autodesk's AutoCAD has been the industry standard in mechanical design ever since CAD existed, but Autodesk has always chosen to only make it available for the most popular OS that users were using. Popular choice meant that AutoCAD was only being made available for Windows. Times are changing, Mac has grown up, and Mac has reduced their prices enough to grab a lot more market share. Autodesk has obviously recognized this substantial grown and is moving in to claim their rightful place in mechanical design by releasing AutoCAD on a Mac.

Apple Housecleaning App Store Again
Apple's been busy again removing programs from their App Store. This time Apple is targeting “widget-like” apps and removing them even after they've cleared the approval process. Widget-like apps are those apps that don't have a any original functionality, they don't do anything spectacular and just re-use functionality that's already built into the operating system.
While it might sound a bit harsh from the developer's perspective to have their app removed from the App Store after they've spent the development time to get it to market, it isn't such a bad thing when you look at the Apple brand and compare it to its main competitor.
